Is leg veins treatment painful?
During the treatment, you may experience a warm and/or stinging feeling. In general, the treatment is not experienced as painful. During the treatment, we use a cry cooling system that offers comfort.
How does my skin feel after the treatment?
Immediately after treatment, the skin may be burning, red and slightly swollen. The extent of this depends on your skin type and the intensity of the treatment. These skin reactions often disappear within a few hours after treatment. The leg vein may also temporarily turn darker. This is also a completely normal skin reaction and will recover after a few days.
Are varicose veins forever gone after a treatment?
The veins that have been treated remain gone, but new visible leg veins can always form. An annual maintenance treatment is sometimes advised.
How many treatments are required?
Depending on the size and amount of visible leg veins, you will need about two to five treatments for the desired result. The recovery time is approximately 8 weeks. During the intake, our skin therapist will make a personal treatment plan for you. There are eight to twelve weeks between a follow-up treatment.
Can I continue my normal activities immediately after treatment?
